Þ  Hello Families, Earlier this week, I sent home the heart words. This is our class’s spelling words.  The heart words stay at home. Please practice reading and writing these words. We will also be learning these words in class.

 

Þ The Halloween Party will be on Halloween (October 31s) from 10:30-11:20.  Volunteers should come at 10:10ish to help set up their center.  Just a friendly reminder this is a half day of school.

 

Þ We are still collecting Box Tops.  Each Box Top gives the school 10 cents.  If you have any Box Tops on your food labels at home, please send them in.

 

Þ Just a reminder that on Monday afternoons we have an hour recess. Please dress for the weather. We go outside most days.

 

Þ Please label everything including jackets with your child’s name. Everyone has the same jacket, and if it gets lost, you most likely will find it, if your child’s name is on it.

 

Þ We made wreaths and spiders this week. The spiders will come home on Halloween, and the wreaths will stay in the classroom a little longer.
