Newsletter Feb. 24, 2018

Hooray, Hooray for the 100th Day! This week students enjoyed many 100 themed activities such as creating a structure out of 100 cups, stamping 100 dots for a rainbow, and finding 100 pieces of candy hidden in our classroom!
This week we had a special guest come to our classroom to share about keeping our teeth clean! Addison’s mom, Dr. Monkman, taught students how to correctly brush their teeth, the importance of brushing twice a day, and about why we lose our teeth.
Dr. Monkman generously brought a bag of healthy teeth goodies for each student to take home. In the bag is a tooth brushing calendar for students to keep track of their teeth brushing. At the end of March, students can bring in their calendar to receive a signed certificate of achievement!
