The Best Part of Your Week, our Newsletter! January 15, 2021

Welcome Families,

I hope to find you safe and happy during this cold time of year. Please make sure your student brings their snow pants, especially when it gets cold out. We go outside every day unless it downpours. This week we worked a lot on iReady and other assessments. We officially finished the reading test and are now working on the math test. Ms. Rusz and I will go over the results with you at conferences.

This week’s theme was the Three Little Pigs. We had an enjoyable time comparing and contrasting the different versions. Ask your child about the Three Little Pigs with the dragon. Next week our theme will be the 5 senses. We did not do a poem this week, so poetry books were NOT sent home on Friday.

Remember to keep practicing the SNAP words and on Tuesday the writing homework is due. Your child will get a new writing packet every Tuesday.

January 28th – School will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m., and conferences held from 12:15 p.m.-8:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 28th.
