Dear Families,

Time has flown by so quickly this year it’s hard to believe we will begin summer vacation next week! I have enjoyed working with the children and watching them grow socially, emotionally, and academically throughout the year. It has been delightful watching them develop into such wonderful readers and writers. The children are so enthusiastic about their achievements. You can be very proud of your child’s hard work and success in the first grade… I am!

I would also like to thank you for your dedicated support to the education of your child. You can indeed be commended for the value you put into your child’s education.

I will miss working with the children and all of you. Your assistance both in and out of the classroom has been much appreciated. I know how valuable time is, and once again, I appreciate your time and effort. I could not do it without your support!

This week I a sending home the poetry notebook and the handwriting book. Please continue to read and complete any pages that are not done. Also remember that field day is on Friday and to send your child to school everyday with his/her backpack.
