A Friendly Reminder:
Please complete the Third Semester Learning Path Selection Form for the final semester which starts March 15. The form is due at 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12
Prior to completing the form, please note:
- Making a change of pathway may be disruptive to your child’s education.
- Pacing from teacher to teacher may be different.
- Class sizes in all pathways will probably increase.
- The more families that choose a new pathway, the more teacher changes there will be, (although we will try to keep the changing of teachers at a minimum).
- This is the last time elementary parents will have a chance to make a pathway change this year.
- All parents must complete the learning path selection form.
Recess
It looks like a cold week, we do go outside unless the temperature goes below 0. Please send in snow pants, hats boots and gloves.
Math-
Phonics- We are still working on word parts and using rhyming to build new words.
Writing- We are writing friendly letters and this week we will mail a letter home.
Reading- We are learning how to read a book when the pattern changes. Students are being to decode and notice when the pattern breaks.
Remember that Thursday is Picture day and our Valentine’s Day Party!
